ok i just feel like sharing this testimony so yeah..

you see, i had this vision quite long ago in about september last year and well it was about me playing drums for service uh, then like, i felt like giving up last month because i thought it would nevr happen but God told me not to give up. then i kept on praying.. and well, i'm in the strikeforce as most of you know. and my drum teacher is also from the strikeforce/music ministry, and just last week and today he asked me if i wanted to play for jams service next saurday! woah. God does answer our prayers! and of course don't give up on your vision and dreams((:

for this sat's valentine's day event at riverwalk, please wear something BLUE. like wear a blue shirt/top or dangle/hang/tie blue accessories on you. Oh! nicolette has bought blue ribbons for us too(: the girls can tie our hair using those, guys can like tie around your wrist or something.

and let's be REALLY excited for this sat okayyyyy? our dearest BRYAN LIM, who has also earned himself the title of a cute comedian only so recently (with his one million dollars video), is performing a couple of times during the event. our pretty cellgroup leader nicolette's hosting the show too! so please do date your friends for this event! (i know all of you are very popular in school and you can get your whole gang to come along(: ) let's keep praying and believing for more friends for our n441 yeah?
yuppsie doodles! AND ALSO PLEASE MEMORISE THE LYRICS OF AS MANY SONGS AS POSSIBLE. those popular hits and common LOVE SONGS, and of course CHRISTIAN SONGS as well. hello im hinting you guys now already! it's gonna be a competition with the other 2 cellgroups.

oh yes, by the way, i've yet to teach you our cell cheer. it goes like this-

HELLO EVERYONE! (:

just thought of sharing a personal testimony that occurred this week.

as you guys know, im working as a waitress. and theres this particular assistant manager whom i dislike, he isnt very pleasant you see.
so everytime before work i would just say a short prayer, hoping that he wldnt be working on the same shifts as me.
haha i know it sounds a lil dumb but still, better than not praying abt it right?
so guess what? we really didnt have any similar shifts.
time flies.
and before i knew, i realised i havent seen him for TWO WEEKS!
so while working 2 days ago, i decided to ask my friend about this assistant manager and why we dont see him around anymore.
my friend replied that he has Resigned. !?
i was Speechless.

blown away by the power of our prayers!

haha well im not saying that we can pray for bad things to happen.
and i Didnt pray for him to quit his job.
but i think its Super Amazing how God works in wonderful ways, how simple prayers like this can even be answered.

this incident reminded me of how close and real Daddy is to our lives!

Hello all!

Have you all been reading Matthew, which is according to the bible reading chart that was given out last week? :) Well if you do, I hope the verses in this book will make a great impact on you and bring you revelations! :)

Matthew 11:28-30

Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.

However, only Jesus can meet our ALL spiritual/emotional needs and bring peace to our hearts. Be assured that God will never reject you when you seek him and He is not always wanting to punish us just because we have sinned. Instead, He is gentle and warm, always knocking at the doors of our hearts, awaiting for it to open up, so that He can step into it.

Coming to my last point, Yes its true that God gives us burdens. But God knows how much we can take and does not give us a burden which is too heavy for us to carry. The only solution is to ask Him to help and guide you in each step that you take, let the Holy spirit lead you in every decision you make. We really got to rely and be very dependent on Him! Only then, you will find that the burden is light as our Perfect and amazing God is walking along with you :)

Thus, after saying much, your first step is to have FAITH in carry out these actions.

I was just reading Fiona's blog which got me very interested when she mentioned about Ezekiel so I went to read up on it... I was really touched by the story/verses which appeared before me a few nights ago.

Ezekiel 1:25 Then there came a voice from above the expanse over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. 26 Above the expanse over their heads was what looked like a throne of sapphire, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

Ezekiel had such an attitude of brokenness and such a contrite spirit that he observed every vision that God gave him in great detail and fell facedown when he saw the Glory...
When I read this book, I really desired to be like Ezekiel, to be able to experience such an amazing presence, to see the visions that perhaps many would not be able to...

Because we do not heed from the Holy Spirit, sometimes we end up being so busy doing the unimportant things rather than what's truly important. We do not hear what God wants us to do, we simply do what's there for us to do. Lets really not forget that beyond all that we are busy with, we got to keep desiring for revelations from the Lord, it is what keeps us going in the right direction... in our destiny.

He's our God, our Lord, our Father and definitely is our friend who loves us so much he died on the cross without any complains/regrets/bitterness.
Lets desire more of God and be closer to Him and Love Him more than ever before N441!!! :)
