Philippians 1:28-29

Don't be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for Him.

I've looked up the meaning of "privilege" in the dictionary and it means:

1. a right, immunity, or benefit enjoyed only by a person beyond the advantages of most others
2. a source of pleasure granted to a person

Insert definitions 1 and 2 into the verse, it'll be:

1. ......... the benefit (enjoyed only by a person who has beyond the advantages of most others) of suffering for Him.

2. ......... the source of pleasure for suffering for Him.

So let's all REJOICE when we're going through any trials/difficulties in life because we're suffering for the Lord! And BELIEVE that He'll save you from what you're going through instead of showing your enemies that you're going to be destroyed. God bless :)
